Ray Bradbury (August 22, 1920 – June 5, 2012)

Yesterday was information that died one of the most talented writers Ray Bradbury. He was 91.It's great loss.
His official site HERE

His book "The Martian Chronicles" has for now only one adaptation in 1980 as TV series. You can read it HERE on IMDB. There are plans for another adaptation in 2013, but more info is only for subscribers HERE . Eh... You know who I'll see in one of the characters. They have birthdays in this same day. Maybe this is sign?

Her husband appeared in a triangular door. “Did you call?” he asked irritably.
“No!” she cried.
“I thought I heard you cry out.”
“Did I? I was almost asleep and had a dream!”
“In the daytime? You don’t often do that.”
She sat as if struck in the face by the dream. “How strange, how very strange,” she murmured. “The dream.”
“Oh?” He evidently wished to return to his book.
“I dreamed about a man.”
“A man?”
“A tall man, six feet one inch tall.”
“How absurd; a giant, a misshapen giant.”
“Somehow”—she tried the words—“he looked all right. In spite of being tall. And he had—oh, I know you’ll think it silly—he had blue eyes!”
“Blue eyes! Gods!” cried Mr. K. “What’ll you dream next? I suppose he had black hair?”
Photobucket“How did you guess?” She was excited.
“I picked the most unlikely color,” he replied coldly.
“Well, black it was!” she cried. “And he had a very white skin; oh, he was most unusual! He was dressed in a strange uniform and he came down out of the sky and spoke pleasantly to me.” She smiled.

PhotobucketPhotobucketI just love his 451 Fahrenheit my fav book and movie. There are pearls! I love everything what is connected with dystopian societies. But 451 is very close to me. For 5 years I'm living without television. Only couple of times for these years I was watching, but only for most important things.. like Richard on TV ;D

PhotobucketPhotobucketIf I'll be a book.... I was thinking about it many times, but maybe this one "I, Jedi" by Michael A. Stackpole. Book is from 1999 and really hard to buy. Why I like this one....Hmmm.... this book is like some kind of diary writting in first person. I like see this in somebody's eyes. Maybe isn't classical big book like e.g. "À la recherche du temps perdu" or Orwell's "1984", but I like it. Or "Jane Eyre".... ???

How wonderful will be to see Richard more natural, eg. on panels and all madness with photos and vids, news!!!!

THIS IS SO AWESOME!!!

Richard is part of PopCulture: Star Wars, Captain America and now The Hobbit. I hope that The Hobbit will be for him only one from many wonderful movies, not only some kind of Magnum Opus. And I'm waiting for news about new movies with Richard after The Hobbit. :)

Richard Armitage - The Ultimate Winner

Couple days ago (April 3th 2012) on NEXT MOVIE site Larry D. Curtis published this article HERE "Who Will Be the Breakout Star of 'The Hobbit'?"

About Richard
"Richard Armitage
This guy has fans and they're extremely devoted, but he isn't in the minds of the general public — yet. The "Captain America" star is rich with talent and his role as emotionally tortured dwarf Thorin Oakenshield will let him showcase his abilities.
Thorin is complex and conflicted, will have his fare share of screen time and will also be the most heroic dwarf in Bilbo's company. And, as we already know from the films' single trailer, he gets to use his trademark baritone voice."
And
"The Winner
Ultimately, being in these films is a career win for all of these guys. Others will benefit as well, but this group stands the best chance of reaping the biggest benefits from their work. They can also kiss privacy goodbye and can start planning, if they choose, convention appearances for the next 30 years.
In terms of skyrocketing career moves, Armitage will be the ultimate winner. Thorin will be a more important part of this film than many realize and the Shakespearian tragedy elements, with his talent and good looks, make this a perfect situation for him. Still, the rest of the group can console itself knowing they all will enjoy a pile of dragon's gold, fame and buzz."

I was thinking about it for these days. Em.... and I'll be very happy that Richard will be the Ultimate Winner.

I just don't want for him this same way as some wonderful actors had/have.

PhotobucketPhotobucketOne of them is Rutger Hauer. This is amazing, talented actor, but he had no chance to play in movies which can really show his talent. He had only couple of moments in life to play remembered characters.
WARNING SPOILERS!
One of them is Roy Batty in Blade Runner from 1982.Blade Runner On Wikipedia HERE, on IMDB HERE. About Roy on IMDB HERE. "Roy Batty was the intelligent and calculating leader of the renegade Nexus-6 replicant group." The most remembered action.

PhotobucketThe next one is The Hitcher from 1986, He played John Ryder. On IMDB HERE and on Wikipedia HERE

He was playing in more good movies, but... mostly not in main characters, or his characters were bad guys or he was in some not very complicated, buffed dudes characters who were shooting and kicked asses.

Second danger for Richard is to be in some kind of these same dudes habit, playing these same characters over and over again, only in different movies and he will be seeing only by perspective of Thorin character to the end of his days.

PhotobucketLike Mark Hamill. On IMDB HERE. Have You know his other roles than playing Luke Skywalker? Mostly he is using his voice in animations or videogames.

guess who is Joker here. See 1:25.

But for the differend people He will be always this Luke from Star Wars.

I just don't want these same actor's ways for Richard. I just don't want him only in documents for BBC or in audiobooks. Well I love them, but I want him in some wonderful movies! I really want to go to the cinema to see his movie! This is not only his work to do, but his agents too!
Somebody said that Richard will loose his fans by waiting or hidding.

Well He will not loose his fans, because "they're extremely devoted". I don't remember on which forum this was. We were talking about what Richard will do to loose his fans. And that were extremely awful things like killing someone or raping.
Well psychopath killers have their own fans too, like Charles Mason. He didn't have chance to be musician. He didn't meet on his way someone who will be interesting in his talent, so he made fans himself.

So I hope that Richard's agents have for him more interesting scripts like this Hobbit one.

Ok talking about "The Martian Chronicles" one fragment is really interesting ;D Here I found it in english :)

PhotobucketI'm hunting for some plant which is called Hobbit (Crassula Hobbit or full "Crassula portulacea f. monstruosa 'Hobbit'"). Don't worry George and Georgina are OK :)
"Crassula portulaceae is nicknamed the hobbit jade plant or the gollum plant because the leaves of the plant look like hobbit fingers. It is a succulent (...)"

Foster The People - Pumped Up Kicks

Robert’s got a quick hand.
He’ll look around the room,
He won’t tell you his plan.
He’s got a rolled cigarette,
Hanging out his mouth
He’s a cowboy kid.

Yeah he found a six shooter gun.
In his dad's closet
With a box of fun things,
I don’t even know what,
But he’s coming for you, yeah he’s coming for you.

“All the other kids with the pumped up kicks
You better run, better run, outrun my gun…”
“All the other kids with the pumped up kicks,
You better run, better run, faster than my bullet.”
“All the other kids with the pumped up kicks
You better run, better run, outrun my gun…”
“All the other kids with the pumped up kicks,
You better run, better run, faster than my bullet.”

Daddy works a long day.
He be coming home late, yeah, he’s coming home late.
And he’s bringing me a surprise.
‘Cause dinner’s in the kitchen and it’s packed in ice.
I’ve waited for a long time.
Yeah the slight of my hand is now a quick-pull trigger,
I reason with my cigarette,
And say, "Your hair's on fire, you must have lost your wits, yeah?"

Leisure life or my new/old books etc.

I'm very rarely buying new books, not because they are expensive in my country, but the best was already published ;D and since now I'm ready to buy them. :) I'm waiting for some books from my forum friends :) I have to confess. I'm not reading popular authors. I hadn't read Coelho or Lessing or Murakami or these all popular books about european women married with arabs. No offense please. Some people are reading all popular books, but they have nothing more from them, just reading and after that talk about plot and after this again some popular book. Not because they are interesting in this book, just because this book is popular. Yes I'm a bit nonconformist. You can read Voltaire's "Philosophical Dictionary" instead of Coelho. :)

At last I have bought ONE OF MY FAV!
I, Jedi by Michael A. Stackpole

PhotobucketBook is from 1999 and really hard to buy. Why I like this one....Hmmm.... this book is like some kind of diary writting in first person. I like see this in somebody's eyes. Star Wars world is so wonderful that every character there can have his own story. Even Greedo... after death. Do You remember Greedo - Rodian? Green? He was killed by Han Solo in Cantina Mos Eisley in Star Wars IV : New Hope. And he has story after death :) You can read this in "Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina". But I'm not so very jedi ;D Not even a sith. One of my fav books is Trilogy of Han Solo. "Tell me who You wish to be and I tell You who You are." Like in Tolkien world somebody is more elvish or dwarvish, or hobbitish. In  Star Wars You can be jedish or sithish or solosch...I wonder what do You realy reading in english from these words. My english isn't good these days.Yeap I'm a bit like Solo. Mostly smuggler and ousider and I'm looking for my Wookiee. Hairy Wookiee. ;D
