Richard is part of PopCulture: Star Wars, Captain America and now The Hobbit. I hope that The Hobbit will be for him only one from many wonderful movies, not only some kind of Magnum Opus. And I'm waiting for news about new movies with Richard after The Hobbit. :)

Hermenegilde komm - April 13th

In this post HERE about premiere of Captain America in My Country I said

And some interesting flash with my favourite series from Poland. Captain America saw some Hydra base near Baltic Sea. This is really interesting, because in my fav series from childhood and this is epic series (my bro watched it in his childhood too) "Four tank-men and a dog" in one episode "Fort Olgierd" there is some kind of very secret base near Baltic Sea where was some kind of new weapon. And German solders had some kind of mission to get this weapon back. And there was action not only from sky, but from sea too! So this weapon probably was Hydra's!!!

Before this action was some information "Hermenegilde komm",

One of the Tank-men's named Gustaw Jeleń said, that he had aunt named Hermenegilde and she had name day April 13th.

So today is anniversary of Hydra's action :)

Hermenegilda

Hermenegilda has its origins in the Gothic language. The meaning of Hermenegilda is 'immense tribute; complete sacrifice'. Two-element name derived from ermen and gild with the meanings 'whole, immense, universal' and 'sacrifice, tribute' respectively. Hermenegilda is the feminine equivalent of the Portuguese and Spanish Hermenegildo. A variant of Hermenegilda is the English, French, Italian, and Spanish familiar form Gilda.

Hermenegilda is not often used as a baby girl name. It is not in the top 1000 names.

A baby name that sounds like Hermenegilda is the name Hermenexilda.

Kto jeszcze pamięta Hermenegildę Kociubińską ;D

Mr Armitage Your Fankle misses You :(

Last time when we saw how Our Fav Fellow is looking emm... as He is looking, not as Thorin, was in July 19th 2012 - 7 months ago.

Limahl - The Neverending Story

Turn around, look at what you see
In her face, the mirror of your dreams

Make believe I'm everywhere
I'm hidden in the lines
And written on the pages
Is the answer to a neverending story

Reach the stars, fly a fantasy
Dream a dream, and what you see will be

Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon the rainbow
Is the answer to a neverending story

Show no fear for she may fade away
In your hands the birth of a new day

Rhymes that keep their secrets
Will unfold behind the clouds
And there upon the rainbow
Is the answer to a neverending story

Heinz in kids' book

My friend send me pictures of Heinz from book for kids about Captain America. The english title is probably "The Courageous Captain America: An Origin Story". This isn't comic only somekind of addaptation. I'm sorry I don't have names of the authors. I consider that one of them is Val Semeiks, the other Bob McLeod. And there are some of The Storybook Art Group and Hi-Fi color design. But not sure who made these.

SALE!!! SALE!!! SALE!!! + my DVD with Captain America

There is time when in almost all shops are sales. So I just was looking today for some interesting things. The point is that when I'm in the city all shops with clothes are closed, and only these with books are open.

So my new books in very good prices :)

This one with orange top has title "Heavy Norwids". How to describe this book? This one is about classical and most famous Polish literature. What we can say about classical literature? That is mostly boring and incomprehensible. So this book is some kind of guide book: "How to read classical literature and how to feel why this literature is so great". I had in plans to buy this earlier but price: almost 60zł was too big. Now I bought it for 9zł :) Cyprian Kamil Norwid was polish poet and his works are really heavy. About Norwid more HERE

Second one "Warsaw death ring, 1939-1944" by Władysław Bartoszewski is about WW2 in Warsaw. Big book in great price from 59zł to 10zł.

Third "The Dangerous Liaisons" from book series where was e.g. Villette, Jane Eyre, A Room with a View and other wonderful books, but I hadn't this one. Price from 40zł to 6zł :)

And "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" :) from 35zł to 13zł :)

New/Old From Heyer :) Black Sheep, False Colours, Frederica, Cousin Kate.

And wonderful to have BBC series Emma from 2009 :)

And at last I have my own copy of Captain America on DVD :)

Not much about Richard :/ But I was watching scenes with Richard with comments by director Joe Johnston, operator Shelly Johnson and editor Jeffrey Ford.

And they are wonderful :) And guys are really enjoy these scenes

This one is interesting. Yes He is able to kill every woman not only grandma. ;D

When is this moment, there aren't comments, at all. They just watching this scene. That means something :)

Sad Captain America

"Joseph Henry Simon (Hymie Simon), comics artist, writer and editor, born 11 October 1913; died 14 December 2011"

"Joe Simon, who has died aged 98, was one of the architects of the golden age of US superhero comics. In 1940 he and Jack Kirby created Captain America as the embodiment of the nation's ideals. The ultimate patriot, clad in a tight-fitting, stars-and-stripes costume, the character was a call to arms by Simon, who believed that American participation in the second world war was inevitable."

Thank You Mr Simon for Captain America :)

Thank You to Cesta for photos :)
