Resting, drinking, watching, eating.

At last sitting and resting. 2 very hard weeks. And harder before me. But at last I have time to drink beer which was in the fridge for 2 months. I'm eating plums from South Africa - purple with yellow flesh. More You can read HERE. Really tasty :). Smakuje jak śliwka węgierka :) Still waiting for my fav plums from Spain :)

I'm watching Band of Brothers ...again ;D. It's really interesting to see these 2 guys McAvoy and Fassbender in one movie, before they become famous. and were playing

in XMen.

Today I had luck and I bought 3 original Harry Potter DVD's in second hand shop. I was talking with seller that nobody was interesting to looking under hangers, for searching for something different than clothes. I paid a little more than 1 pound. Boxes are a bit damaged, but with everything inside.

My new books. :) I bought them in february.

Paul Johnson - Heroes - Heroes includes: Samson, Judith, and Deborah, Henry V and Joan of Arc, Elizabeth I and Walter Raleigh, George Washington, the Duke of Wellington, and Lord Nelson, Emily Dickinson, Abraham Lincoln and Robert E. Lee, Mae West and Marilyn Monroe, Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and Pope John Paul II.

Michael Gruber - The Book of Air and Shadows.

Book with way how to learn speak Spanish by Beata Pawlikowska.

In second hand shop - George R.R. Martin - 1 part of A Storm of Swords.

And a gift from my high school librarian when I was there for a visit: poems of Maria Pawlikowska-Jasnorzewska one of the best polish poets.

And from Heyer's - The Black Moth in Harlequin edition ;D

And of course Star Wars :)

SALE!!! SALE!!! SALE!!! + my DVD with Captain America

There is time when in almost all shops are sales. So I just was looking today for some interesting things. The point is that when I'm in the city all shops with clothes are closed, and only these with books are open.

So my new books in very good prices :)

This one with orange top has title "Heavy Norwids". How to describe this book? This one is about classical and most famous Polish literature. What we can say about classical literature? That is mostly boring and incomprehensible. So this book is some kind of guide book: "How to read classical literature and how to feel why this literature is so great". I had in plans to buy this earlier but price: almost 60zł was too big. Now I bought it for 9zł :) Cyprian Kamil Norwid was polish poet and his works are really heavy. About Norwid more HERE

Second one "Warsaw death ring, 1939-1944" by Władysław Bartoszewski is about WW2 in Warsaw. Big book in great price from 59zł to 10zł.

Third "The Dangerous Liaisons" from book series where was e.g. Villette, Jane Eyre, A Room with a View and other wonderful books, but I hadn't this one. Price from 40zł to 6zł :)

And "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" :) from 35zł to 13zł :)

New/Old From Heyer :) Black Sheep, False Colours, Frederica, Cousin Kate.

And wonderful to have BBC series Emma from 2009 :)

And at last I have my own copy of Captain America on DVD :)

Not much about Richard :/ But I was watching scenes with Richard with comments by director Joe Johnston, operator Shelly Johnson and editor Jeffrey Ford.

And they are wonderful :) And guys are really enjoy these scenes

This one is interesting. Yes He is able to kill every woman not only grandma. ;D

When is this moment, there aren't comments, at all. They just watching this scene. That means something :)

Leisure life or my new/old books etc.

I'm very rarely buying new books, not because they are expensive in my country, but the best was already published ;D and since now I'm ready to buy them. :) I'm waiting for some books from my forum friends :) I have to confess. I'm not reading popular authors. I hadn't read Coelho or Lessing or Murakami or these all popular books about european women married with arabs. No offense please. Some people are reading all popular books, but they have nothing more from them, just reading and after that talk about plot and after this again some popular book. Not because they are interesting in this book, just because this book is popular. Yes I'm a bit nonconformist. You can read Voltaire's "Philosophical Dictionary" instead of Coelho. :)

At last I have bought ONE OF MY FAV!

I, Jedi by Michael A. Stackpole

Book is from 1999 and really hard to buy. Why I like this one....Hmmm.... this book is like some kind of diary writting in first person. I like see this in somebody's eyes. Star Wars world is so wonderful that every character there can have his own story. Even Greedo... after death. Do You remember Greedo - Rodian? Green? He was killed by Han Solo in Cantina Mos Eisley in Star Wars IV : New Hope. And he has story after death :) You can read this in "Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina". But I'm not so very jedi ;D Not even a sith. One of my fav books is Trilogy of Han Solo. "Tell me who You wish to be and I tell You who You are." Like in Tolkien world somebody is more elvish or dwarvish, or hobbitish. In Star Wars You can be jedish or sithish or solosch...I wonder what do You realy reading in english from these words. My english isn't good these days.Yeap I'm a bit like Solo. Mostly smuggler and ousider and I'm looking for my Wookiee. Hairy Wookiee. ;D

Peaches on my plate and other bits

This weekend peaches. :) I really shouldn't drink... after 1 can (500 ml) of beer, I was taking silly photos, writing stupid things in internet, thanks that I'm not on ebuy or other auctions, probably I will order something and after that don't remember what was it. And at the end I'm always sleepy. This isn't good, because I'm working on some gif, first time I'm making something like this and I need time, so sleeping in the middle of this work isn't good. But Pilsner Urquel is really wonderful :)!

In past night had beautiful dream, I was at news stand, meet there very nice lady, we were talking about books and how to make good photo and I just saw that Recognise is in my country for very long time, and she was so nice, she promised me 3 copies of next issue. aaaaaaaaaaaaaa, but this was only dream! :/

I can't wait for this Magazine. I even ordering my own copy ;D . A little gift for my birthday :) I just recieved information from system that someone will contact with me :)

Looking at this photo I had in my head 6 things:

5. THIS IS REALLY BAD GUY!!!

Well I don't know about colour of this shirt, but if is red this reminds me about Kraftwerk, even if they hadn't beards on this cover.

Couple weeks ago I ended Venetia by Heyer in polish Decyzja. And after that my first thought was: "Strange book. So that's why I didn't understand so much from Richard's audiobook, because there isn't too much action. Much more here some kind of nuances." Interesting picture of morality in that time.

I bought another one from Heyers: Przyzwoitka - Lady of Quality and red couple of pages :) Really interesting :)

And at last I bought biography of Richard the Third by Paul Murray Kendall. This is 1980 edition. And this book is only to buy in second-hand bookshops or in internet. As I remember I red this one before when I was in primary school. This one was in my school library. In old education system in Poland we had 8 classes in primary school. And we were going to school, when we were 7 y.o. I red this in 7 class so I was 14. But don't remember so much.

Talking about books there are only 3 which I wanted to read again after ending. Just open book and start reading again: "Hobbit", "Jane Eyre" and "I,Jedi"

In saturday I bought my new McKinleys. HERE is site. I'm loyal customer to this brand, because I have 4 shoes from McKinley and they didn't let me down. And they are really not expensive and durable. In every par of them I was walking more than one year continuously (in winter I have McKinleys for winter time ;D) If You don't have too much money You should buy something for longer time. This new one are in grey-blue ;) color. BTW. insole board is made from 70% of recycled things.
