YAY! In new catalog in my book club "Świat Książki" there is all Tolkien series in subscription. I was in book store and nice lady said that better ordered it by internet. I haven't all Tolkien books in my library so I'm really happy and I'm starting to buy them.

WARNING! SOME SPOILERS!

I haven't all Tolkien books, but I have 3 different editions of Hobbit ;D

Here are my:
In Poland we have 2 good translations of Hobbit by Maria Skibniewska (I should say more poetical) and Paulina Braiter (more closer to orginal).

PhotobucketThis one is little one, pocket edition. Really good for reading in buses. I starting reading Hobbit again. This one is translated by Paulina Braiter (She translated Barry Trotter, Eragon, other Tolkien's books, King books). Now I'm reading it and try to imagine Richard and other characters like they will look like in the Movie. And some actions I just can't imagine ;D like first meeting with Bilbo, when Thorin is on the floor, under dwarves. Or smoking pipe and making smoke circle.

This one is translated by Maria Skibniewska. And this is probably 2010 (earlier was from 2004 and 2007) reedition from 1960 in this same cover.

This one is bigger and heavier version of pocket version, translated by Paulina Braiter, but has more pictures of Alan Lee.

Hope to have them more :) There are different (plus audiobook and comic) like:

Jonia, good research. I really didn't realize that there is so many editions of "The Hobbit " in our country - thanks :-)
(And as I wrote earlier TH in the translation Sibiniewskiej I read wonderfully lightly).
Definitely, there are many scenes which are worth the wait.
It is obvious that I can't wait to see RA as Thorin but also very want to see Aidan Turner which impressed me in "Being Human"

If I was married to a billionare, I would have bought that book already.
*sniff*
Sadly...I'm broke. So, I'll just pretend that I bought it. :P

Richard is so sweet! Love his little comment!
